In The Boss Mom Mentality, I go over the Value of Time as one of the biggest factor of Motherhood and balancing it all is the utilization of time. I found myself being spread thin, I felt like I didn’t have time to complete anything.
So having time, making more time and being able to feel like I can complete tasks, like spending time with my children felt like far and few between.
“Dont count the days, make the days count.“
-Muhammad Ali
Thank god for social media and technology, because without it I wouldn’t have all the amazing memories captured from my children’s first baths, or first steps, or first time at Disneyland. My daughters are 3 and 5 years old and I find myself scrolling down my Instagram photos and searching for some very old content of my little ones.
It seems as though in one moment, you are kissing the chubby cheeks of your baby, then you blink, and your baby is a toddler. A moment later, they are going to school and the next they’re learning to drive. Motherhood has a unique way of making time go by faster.
Embracing the moments of their childhood is the only way we can truly be present and allow for us to truly cherish these moments. Don’t let the little pettiness of the day to day rob you of your joyous time with your children. The most valuable commodity in life is time, utilize it wisely to benefit your life and maximize each moment within it.
